1. Build your network of friends.
The key to developing real relationships is to show genuine interest and offer real value to others, instead of always thinking of what's in it for you.
{a} Find people whose music you like.
{b}Like, Re-post and Comment on their songs
{c}Find them on facebook and like their Facebook Fan Page and comment.
{d}After a couple of weeks of step 1, 2 & 3, send them a message on SoundCloud ... ask them how they made the or that snare, and let them know that you've shared their music with your followers on SoundCloud, Facebook.. etc
N/B: Basically, get a conversation going and show them that you're willing to help them out.
2. Google Plus Communities
Now when it comes to social media sites, there are three that are highly recommended; Facebook, Twitter and Google Plus.
Set up a decent profile.
Start engaging in groups, communities and conversations by responding to your friends updated, voting up other people's posts on G+ .
Add you music to Facebook Groups, and share on Twitter and other social media platforms.
N/B: No many will bother checking out the stuff you share if you don't engage with them.
