How much do you know about farmers?

Hi Friend,
Family farmers produce most of the food we all eat – in sub-Saharan Africa and Asia, they provide up to 80% of the food supply. And, each year, it's getting harder for them to do their jobs.
In West Africa, the Ebola outbreak has prevented farmers from planting their fields. In South Sudan, the ongoing conflict has forced many farmers to miss an entire planting and harvesting cycle because it isn't safe to go out into their fields. And around the world, farmers are on the frontlines of climate change, battling extreme and unpredictable weather like floods, storms, and droughts.
Autumn is harvest season here in the US, a time to learn about the people who grow our food and about how we can take action together to support them.
To help you figure out what you know about family farmers – and what you don't! – we've created a fun, quick quiz to help you test your Family Farmer IQ.
When we know more about our food, where it comes from, and the farmers who grow it, we can make better choices as voters and consumers. We can help end hunger by supporting family farmers and ensuring that they can feed people in their communities and beyond.
